UnguidedTrips: No guide, no chase car. Participants are aware that they are on their own, there are no guarantees (flats, spills, weather, technical problems, etc.). Riders must be experienced and self-sufficient. some of these trips are very remote and without proper knowledge and experience you may be spending the night or worse!!!
Some of these rides are detailed in Off the Beaten Track E. TN and most are shown on the National Geographic Map-Cherokee Pisgah National Forests #782.
Hurricane Gap Shuttle: Get dropped off at 2900' then choose one of many routes back to Hot Springs (difficulty varies). $25- 1 or 2 people $5 each additional person
Betsy's Gap Road Bike Shuttle: We drive you from Hot springs(1340') to Betsy's Gap(3895') on NC HWY 209. Ride 20 miles back to town. Hwy 209 is a scenic Hwy that runs through Spring Creek valley. The trip is mostly downhill or flat. $40- 1 or 2 people $5 each additional
Meadow Creek Tower Shuttle: On the way to the tower leave your car at the trails end. We bring you up to the tower. Catch the view and then catch your breath, descend difficult single track to Burnette Gap (2.6 miles). Take Burnette Gap trail (7.5 miles) to your car (very difficult-big climbs, steep singletrack). $40 1 or 2 people $5 each additional
Wolf Creek Shuttle: Follow us to Wolf Creek, drop your car, we then bring you back to Hot Springs. Ride River Road (7 miles) to Paint Rock, ascend to Lone Pine Gap (3 Miles), ride Paint Mountain or Chimney Rocks Trail (both difficult downhill singletrack) to Weavers Bend then gravel road 5 miles back to your car (very difficult-big climbs, steep singletrack). $20 to bring driver back.
